Commercial HVAC Installation Done Right the First Time
When a commercial rooftop unit reaches end-of-life, replacement is one of the largest single capital expenses a Central Valley business will face — and the wrong install will haunt you with energy bills, hot spots, and warranty headaches for the next 15 years. HVAC Penguin (CSLB #1115847) is a Turlock-based licensed and insured commercial HVAC contractor that owns the entire light commercial HVAC installation process from load calc to inspection signoff.
We replace and install RTUs, package units, and split systems up to 25 tons for restaurants, retail, offices, medical and dental practices, churches, and small warehouses across all 22 Central Valley cities. Crane day, curb adapter fabrication, electrical and gas re-connect, controls integration, refrigerant charge, airflow balancing, economizer commissioning, and county permit closeout — all under one contractor, one schedule, and one written proposal.
We spec equipment to the actual building load — not just the nameplate of the old unit. That avoids oversizing (which kills dehumidification and efficiency) and undersizing (which leaves you uncomfortable on 105°F afternoons). Carrier, Trane, Lennox, York, Daikin, Rheem, Bryant, AAON, and Goodman — we'll recommend the right unit for your load, efficiency target, and budget.

Our Commercial Installation Process
Six clean stages from the first phone call to final inspection signoff.

Equipment options with efficiency comparisons, written timeline, and permit submitted to your county building department.
Equipment delivery & staging
Unit delivered to site, staged for crane day. Curb adapter (if needed) fabricated and ready.
Crane day & install

Start-up & commissioning
Refrigerant charge verified, airflow balanced, control sequences tested, economizer calibrated, owner walk-through.
Inspection & closeout
County inspection scheduled and passed. Closeout package — permit, equipment registration, warranty docs — delivered.
